All Membership levels include free admission to the Japanese House and Garden, subscription to the newsletter, advanced announcement of events and reduced admission to workshops and special events. Membership levels begin at $40 for Individuals. Higher levels include more benefits. * The gift of tradition! Tea ceremonies at the Japanese House and Garden are led by Japanese tea masters from the community. The tea master will give a brief history of Chanoyu (the Way of Tea) and a demonstration. Guests will be included in the ceremony and receive a bowl of green tea and seasonal sweet. Private tea ceremonies in the tearoom (5 or less people) are $350. Group tea ceremonies (6-30 people) are $250.  * The gift of a party! Gather 12 of your friends for sake tasting and sushi on the veranda at the Japanese House and Garden. The hour and half party will be scheduled in the evening of your choice or for lunch on Monday. The cost is $450.* The gift of relaxation! The Japanese House and Garden will be offering A Day of Relaxation on June 17 and September 23, 2006 from 10:00-1:00. Participants will unwind with a shiatsu massage, participate in a private tea ceremony, enjoy a leisure stroll through the garden and indulge in a bento lunch. The cost is $200 for non-members and $100 for members.  * The gift of flora! Each year the Japanese House and Garden hosts an Ikebana Exhibit and Bonsai Exhibit. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, students and youth and free to members of the Japanese House and Garden.If you are interested in giving any of these gifts to someone, please return the registration form with your payment.
