Reservations

Individuals and groups less than 10 are welcome at any time the site is open to the public. Admission is $4.00 for adults; $3.00 for seniors, students with ID, and youth (ages 6-17); free for children under 6 and members of the Japanese House and Garden. Guided tours or tour books are available upon request.

In order to protect the site, large groups (10 or more) are required to call in advance to make a reservation. There is a $15 processing fee. Please click on the name of the reservation type for more information or click on the corresponding registration form (last column in the chart).

Adult Tour - house tours for adult groups $3/person
School Tour - house tours for school-aged groups (including scouts, religious groups, etc) $3/person
Special Tours - tours with options for tour of the house and/or garden and tea tasting; price

Public Tea Ceremony - tea ceremonies open to the public $18 for members, $22 for non-members
Group Tea Ceremony - tea ceremonies for groups of 6-30 people in the large residential room. $450/group
Private Tea Ceremony - tea ceremonies for groups of 2-5 people in the Shofuso teahouse. $550/group
Corporate Tea Ceremony - tea ceremonies and evening at a local sushi restaurant for small corporate groups. $700/group

Wedding Ceremony Rental - rent the Japanese House and Garden for your wedding ceremony.Please understand we do NOT do receptions, there are no chairs and there is a limit of 70 people (guests and bridal party). $800/two hours
Private Photo Rental - rent the Japanese House and Garden for your wedding photos $250/one hour
Business/Commercial Photo Rental - rent the Japanese House and Garden for your commercial photo needs $500
Studio Photo Rental - rent the Japanese House and Garden for your extensive commercial photo needs. Please call the office to discuss the possibilities!

Sushi Social - Gather 15 of your friends for sushi on the veranda at the Japanese House and Garden. $600
